I don’t know if it should be called art per se, but I think this little collection misses something with a title like “photos I took of stuff.” All expect the last photo were taken with film. View the full collection here: My photo gallery.
Ice Shell

This photo shows the thickness of the ice on each branch. Notice how the green leaves on the top of each berry are preserved in a spread-out formation.

View Miles Above

This is a shot of a sunset taken from about 25,000 feet over Albany, NY.

Palace of Fine Arts

Taken at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, CA, this shot is set on a natural gray backdrop which really brings out the colors of the columns and stonework.

Film: Kodak ISO 200, 35mm

Pearl Water Drops

This image could have come out better, but I still like it anyway. I want to redo the shot at some point, once I figure out what I did the first time!
Camera: Nikon N6006
Film: Kodak ISO 200, 35mm
Lighting: Indoor lighting, no flash
Lost in Yellow

The colors in this came out surprisingly well, I think. There was a bee in the center of the shot, but it flew away right before I snapped the shutter.
Camera: Nikon N6006
Film: Kodak ISO 200, 35mm
Lighting: Natural daylight
Japanese Flower Garden

I took this photo in the Japanese Flower Garden in San Francisco. This is one of my absolute favorites.
Camera: Nikon N6006
Film: Kodak ISO 200, 35mm

No Words Can Express

Surprisingly enough, this photo was taken at dusk and overexposed to give the effect that you see. Though images of the twin towers carry a series of complex emotions, I just had to post this one.
Camera: Nikon N6006
Film: Kodak ISO 200, 35mm
Lighting: Overexposed and using natural daylight
Two Roads Diverged

Taken on a beach in Los Angeles using a digital camera.
